Settings

Learn how to configure company information, user profiles, modules, and system preferences in RedERP.

Overview

The Settings section in RedERP allows administrators and users to configure system preferences, manage company details, control user access, and customize module activation.
Settings are organized into the following areas:

  • Company Settings — Manage general company information and regional settings.
  • Profile Settings — Update personal information and security preferences.
  • Module Management — Control which business modules are active.
  • User Management — Add or manage users, groups, and their roles.
  • Groups & Roles Management — Define access permissions across teams.
  • File Manager — Upload, organize, and access stored files securely.

Company Settings

Manage your company’s identity, contact information, and regional configurations.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings → Company Settings.
  2. Fill in or edit the following sections:

General Information

  • Company Logo – Upload or change the company logo.
  • Company Name * – Official name of the business.
  • Email – Primary contact email.
  • Phone – Company phone number.
  • Website – Link to your website.
  • Tax Number – Enter your tax identification number.
  • Industry – Choose your company’s industry category.

Addresses

  • Physical Address – Main business location.
  • Billing Address – Address used for invoices and billing.

Regional Settings

  • Default Language for New Users – Select the language automatically applied to new accounts.
  • Default Currency – Choose the base currency used in transactions.
  • Decimal Digit Count – Define how many decimal places to display for amounts.
  • Timezone * – Select the timezone for all date/time operations.
  • Date Format * – Example: DD/MM/YYYY (31/12/2024).
  • Time Format – Choose between 24-hour or 12-hour formats.

Accounting, Financial, and Tax Year

Note: Fiscal, financial, and accounting year configurations can be managed in the Finance Module for detailed setup.

  • Fiscal Year Period – Select your fiscal year range.
  • Financial Year Period – Define your financial reporting year.
  • Accounting Year Period – Set your accounting cycle.

Click Save Changes to confirm updates.


Profile Settings

Update your personal information, preferred language, and security credentials.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings → Profile Settings.
  2. Edit the following sections as needed:

Personal Information

  • Profile Photo – Upload or replace your profile picture.
  • Title – Choose from titles like Mr., Ms., Dr., etc.
  • Full Name – Enter your complete name.
  • Email Address – View your registered email (cannot be changed).
  • Mobile Number – Update your contact number.
  • Preferred Language – Select your display language.

Authentication Settings

  • SMS OTP – Enable or disable one-time password via SMS.
  • Email OTP – Enable or disable email-based OTP verification.

Reset Password

Click Change Password, then fill in:

  • Current Password – Enter your existing password.
  • New Password – Create a new one (min 8 characters).
  • Confirm New Password – Re-enter for confirmation.

Password Requirements

  • 8–128 characters long
  • Different from current password
  • Must include uppercase, lowercase, a number, and a special character

Click Update Password to apply changes.


Module Management

Manage activation and settings for all available modules in your system.

Overview

  • Total Modules – Displays total number of modules.
  • Active / Inactive / Trial – View module statuses.
  • Search & Filter – Find modules by name, category, or status.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings → Module Management.
  2. Review module list (e.g., Business, Data Management, Finance, etc.).
  3. Use Activate or Deactivate to control each module.
  4. Click Refresh to update module status.

Example Modules

  • Data Management – Organize and secure business data.
  • Inventory & Stock – Manage stock levels and movements.
  • Sales and Invoicing – Automate billing and monitor payments.
  • Finance – Handle accounting and financial reports.
  • Point of Sales – Process retail transactions efficiently.
  • Priority Support Ticket – Manage critical issue resolution.

User Management

Add, view, and manage user accounts and their group assignments.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings → User Management.
  2. Click Add User to create a new account.
  3. Fill in:
    • User Name
    • Contact Information
    • Status (Active/Inactive)
    • Assigned Groups

Use the Search bar to find users quickly.

Statistics

  • Total Users
  • Active Users
  • Total Groups

Groups & Roles Management

Organize users into groups and assign specific roles or permissions.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings → Groups & Roles Management.
  2. Click Add Group to create a new group.
  3. Define:
    • Group Name
    • Description
    • Members
    • Roles

Metrics

  • Total Groups
  • Total Roles
  • Active Assignments

Use filters and search to quickly locate roles or groups.


File Manager

Upload, organize, and manage files stored within RedERP.

Features

  • Upload File – Add new documents or media.
  • Search files – Locate files by name or category.
  • Filter by Category, Type, or Status – Customize the view.
  • Sort – Choose sorting order (Newest First, etc.).
  • Actions – Download, delete, or manage file access.

File management ensures secure storage, accessibility, and organization for all users within the ERP.
