Connect your store
Link a Shopify store to RedERP with Shopify's authorization page, check the connection, and disconnect safely.
Overview
Connecting takes one minute and happens on Shopify's own authorization page. You never paste an access token or a secret into RedERP.
Go to Shopify → Dashboard.
Before you start
- The Shopify module is activated for your account (Profile menu → App marketplace).
- You are an owner or staff member of the Shopify store with permission to install apps.
- Your RedERP company currency matches the store currency, or you accept that orders keep their Shopify currency.
Connect (step by step)
- In Shopify → Dashboard, type your store domain, for example
my-store.myshopify.com(the.myshopify.compart is added if you omit it). - Click Connect Shopify. You are redirected to Shopify.
- Sign in to Shopify if asked, review the requested permissions (read products, inventory, customers, orders, locations) and click Install.
- You come back to Shopify → Dashboard. The store shows Connected, and the first synchronisation is queued automatically.
- Wait for the job to finish in Sync history, then open E-commerce → Products to see your catalog with the Shopify badge.
Custom app in the same Shopify organisation:
If the store belongs to the same Shopify organisation as a custom app you created, expand App in the same Shopify organization and enter that app's client ID and client secret instead. The secret is stored encrypted and never shown again. Everyone else should use the normal Connect Shopify button.
What the Dashboard shows
| Block | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Connected / Disconnected / Connection error / Uninstalled | Current connection state. Uninstalled means the app was removed from Shopify. |
| Last synchronization / Last successful sync | When the last job ran, and when a job last completed without error. |
| Products · Categories · Customers · Orders | Records imported for this store only (multi-store accounts see one card per store). |
| Webhook registration | Result of the real subscription check on Shopify — see Webhooks & troubleshooting. |
| Recent synchronization | Last five jobs with status and error. |
Several stores
You can connect more than one store to the same account. Each store has its own card, counts, jobs and webhook health. Records are identified by store + Shopify id, so two stores can share the same order numbers without conflict.
Disconnect
Click Disconnect on the store card. The access token is revoked in RedERP and webhooks stop. Imported records are kept — products, clients, orders, invoices and payments stay in RedERP.
To connect again later, repeat the steps above. Existing records are re-linked, not duplicated.
Tips
- Keep the store domain, not the custom
.comdomain — the integration needs*.myshopify.com. - If you see Connection error, open the card: the last error is shown under the status. Most often the app was uninstalled on Shopify; reconnect.
