Catalog — cities and countries
Maintain countries, cities, and tour categories used by the Tourism catalog and public websites.
Overview
The destination catalog is shared by tours, excursions, hotels, and the public website. Keep it clean: one country, its cities, and the categories guests filter by.
Countries
Go to Tourism → Countries.
- Name, slug, and description
- Flag / cover image
- Translations for each published locale
- Status (active / hidden)
Cities
Go to Tourism → Cities.

| Name* | City name in the default language. |
| Country* | Parent country. |
| Alias | Marketing nickname. |
| Description | Brochure text for the city page. |
| Services | Optional city services shown to operators. |
City names must match (or be linkable to) itinerary stops. If a tour day says a name that is not in this list, the quotation calculator cannot match a hotel.
Tour categories
Go to Tourism → tour categories from the tour editor, or the categories admin page.
Examples: Sahara, Cultural, Family, Adventure. Assign one or more categories on each tour.
Translations
Countries, cities, and categories can be translated with AI, same as tours. Translate the default language first, then run the other locales. Jobs show in progress, complete, or failed per language.
Tips
- Do not duplicate the same city under two spellings (Tunis vs Tunis-Ville) unless you really need both.
- After renaming a city, reopen tours that use it and check itinerary links.
