Tours
Create, edit, translate, and publish multi-day tours in RedERP Tourism.
Overview
A tour is a multi-day package: title, description, highlights, inclusions, exclusions, accommodation notes, and a day-by-day itinerary. Tours appear in the admin catalog and on connected public websites (for example Inventa / ILP).
Go to Tourism → Tours.
Create a tour
- Click Add tour (or open an existing tour → Edit).
- Fill the core fields:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Title* | Customer-facing name. |
| Slug | URL-safe identifier (ASCII, hyphens). Generated if empty. |
| Short description | One or two sentences for cards and search. |
| Description | Full marketing text (can be long / rich text). |
| Duration | Number of days. |
| Categories | Tour categories (Sahara, Cultural, etc.). |
| Cities | Destinations visited (used by the website and calculator). |
| Base price / currency | Starting price shown on the catalog. |
| Status | Draft or published. |
- Add highlights, inclusions, and exclusions.
- Build the itinerary — one card per day: title, description, meals, overnight, activities, and optional city links.
- Save.
Translations
Tours support multiple locales (for example en, fr, ar, zh).
- Open the tour editor.
- Select target languages and start AI translation.
- Wait until the job shows complete for each locale.
- Review the translated title, description, lists, and itinerary — then publish.
Long tours (many days or a large description) are translated in batches. Chinese and other dense scripts take more time. If a language fails, retry that locale only; completed languages are kept.
Tips
- Keep the default language complete before translating.
- Link cities on itinerary days so the quotation calculator can match hotels.
- Use departure dates (
Tourism → Departure dates) so the website can offer bookable dates. - Preview the tour before publishing to the public site.
