Learn how to create and manage client accounts in RedERP.

Overview

The Clients section allows you to add and manage customer accounts. Each client record can store contact details, financial settings, and business preferences to simplify transactions and reporting.

How to Create a Client

  1. Go to Data Management → Clients

  2. Click Create New Client

  3. Fill in the client details:

    Basic Information

    • Client Name (required) — Enter the full name of the client or company.
    • Business Type — Choose Company or Individual.
    • Priority Level — Assign a priority (e.g., Normal, High).
    • Tax Number — Enter client’s tax identification number.
    • Trade License — Add license or registration number (if applicable).

    Contact Information

    • Phone — Primary phone number.
    • Mobile — Mobile number.
    • Email — Contact email address.
    • Fax — Fax number (if applicable).
    • Website — Client’s website URL.

    Business Settings

    • Credit Limit — Maximum credit amount assigned to the client.
    • Discount % — Default discount percentage for this client.
    • Payment Terms — Define terms (e.g., Net 30, Cash on Delivery).
    • Payment Method Preference — Select preferred method of payment.

    Status

    • Set client as Active or inactive.

    Additional Settings

    • VIP Client — Mark if client has VIP privileges.
    • Requires Approval — Enable if client transactions need approval.
    • Loyalty Program — Link client to a loyalty program.
    • Notes — Add internal notes or comments.
  4. Click Create Client to save, or Close to exit.

Actions

  • Edit: Update client information anytime.
  • Delete: Remove inactive or duplicate clients.
  • Assign to Categories: Group clients into categories for discounts, pricing tiers, and reporting.
