Guide to creating and managing Sales Invoices in RedERP.
Overview
An Invoice records the final sale and payment obligation. It represents the official request for payment after delivery or service completion.
Purpose
- Record customer billing
- Track payment status
- Maintain accounting consistency
Typical Workflow
Quotation → Sales Order → Delivery Note → Invoice
Dashboard / List View
- Invoice Reference
- Customer
- Invoice Date
- Due Date
- Status — Draft, Unpaid, Paid, Overdue
- Total Amount
- Payment Status
Create New Invoice
- Go to
Sales & Invoicing → Invoices → Create New - Complete the form fields:

| Invoice Reference* | Auto-generated by system. |
| Customer* | Select from client list. |
| Invoice Date* | Defaults to current date. |
| Due Date* | Set payment deadline. |
| Location* | Select branch or warehouse. |
| Ledger* | Choose related accounting ledger. |
| Currency* | Select applicable currency. |
| Remarks | Optional invoice notes. |
- Add product lines, taxes, and discounts.
- Save and Confirm Invoice to post to ledger.
Tips
- Unpaid invoices will appear in Pending Payments.
- Use filters to track overdue invoices.
- You can generate credit notes directly from invoices.
