Service Suppliers
Learn how to create and manage supplier records in RedERP.
Overview
The Suppliers section allows you to manage vendor accounts, including contact details, payment terms, and supplier types. Supplier records ensure smooth procurement, approvals, and reporting.
How to Create a Supplier

Go to Data Management → Service Suppliers

Click Create New Supplier

Fill in the supplier details:
Basic Information
- Supplier Name (required) — Enter the supplier or company name.
- Business Type — Choose Company or Individual.
- Priority Level — Assign a priority (e.g., Normal, High).
- Tax Number — Supplier’s tax identification number.
- Trade License — License or registration number (if applicable).
Contact Information
- Phone — Primary phone number.
- Mobile — Mobile number.
- Email — Supplier’s email address.
- Website — Supplier’s website URL.
Business Settings
- Credit Limit — Maximum allowed credit for purchases.
- Early Payment Discount % — Discount percentage for early payments.
- Payment Terms — Define supplier payment terms (e.g., Net 30).
- Supplier Type — Choose supplier classification (e.g., Approved).
Status
- Set supplier as Active or inactive.
Additional Settings
- Preferred Supplier — Mark if this is a preferred supplier.
- Requires Approval — Enable if supplier transactions need approval.
- Notes — Add internal notes about the supplier.

Click Create Supplier to save, or Close to exit.
Actions
- Edit: Update supplier information anytime.
- Delete: Remove inactive or duplicate suppliers.
- Assign: Link suppliers to procurement workflows for automated selection.
