Ecommerce

Overview of the Ecommerce module in RedERP — online storefront, orders, customers, and store settings.

Overview

The Ecommerce module lets you run an online store connected to your RedERP catalog, stock, and customers. Shoppers buy on your public storefront; you manage products, orders, payments, themes, and recovery emails from the ERP.

Use this module when you need:

  • A branded online shop (themes such as Minimal, Daily Dose, Nourish)
  • Online orders with stock checks and payment gateways (COD, Stripe, redirect)
  • Abandoned-cart recovery and order confirmation emails
  • Store analytics next to your ERP sales data

Ecommerce Dashboard

Open Ecommerce from the main menu. The dashboard typically shows:

  • Total products — Catalog items available to the store
  • Total orders — Online orders in the selected period
  • Pending / processing orders — Orders that need attention
  • Customers — Registered or guest shoppers linked to ecommerce
  • Revenue & average order value — Online sales performance
  • Orders by status — Breakdown (pending, processing, fulfilled, cancelled, refunded)
  • Top products — Best sellers by quantity and revenue

Use the date filters when available, then Refresh to update metrics.

Typical launch checklist

  1. Activate the Ecommerce module for the account.
  2. Configure Store Settings (handle/domain, currency, tax, emails).
  3. Add at least one payment gateway (e.g. Cash on Delivery) and turn it Active.
  4. Add a shipping rule (or rely on flat shipping rate).
  5. Publish products and categories for the storefront.
  6. Choose a theme and fill home content.
  7. Place a test order on the storefront and confirm it appears under Online Orders.

Did you know?

Online stock follows ERP product stock. If Allow negative stock is off and quantity is 0 or below, the storefront should show Out of stock and block checkout for that item.
